Truck Typing Game — how to play
Truck Typing Game (Off-Road Typing Rally) is a free 3D typing racing game that runs in your browser. The words are painted on the dirt trail in front of a 6×6 military truck and shown in the centre of the screen. Type them correctly and the truck drives forward over them; stop typing and it brakes to a stop. Your typing speed is literally the speed of the truck.
Controls
- Letters, numbers, punctuation — type the highlighted letter of the current word.
- Space — finish the word and move on to the next one.
- Enter — fire nitro when the bar is full (earned with perfect words and checkpoints).
- Tab — change camera, Esc — pause.
- On phones and tablets, tap Tap here to open keyboard.
Rules
- A wrong key does not move the cursor: the letter turns red, the engine misfires and the truck loses power for half a second.
- Every word typed without a mistake adds 10% nitro (ten perfect words fill the bar); every checkpoint adds 15%.
- The truck slows down on its own for blind crests, steep descents and river fords — like a real driver.
- At the finish line you get your time, average WPM, accuracy, top speed, best streak and a gold, silver or bronze medal.
Maps, weather and difficulty
Choose Green Valley, Desert Canyon or Sunset Ridge, then Clear, Storm (rain, thunder and slippery mud) or Night (headlights only). Easy uses short common words, Medium longer words and simple sentences, and Hard adds capitals, punctuation and numbers — great practice for exams and office typing.
